fantast meat therm

I just purchased a "Fantast" meat thermometer at Ikea in Seattle. The price was 7.62 with tax. Its a digital single probe with a braided steel connection wire. The price was too good to pass up. I havent even opened it up yet but figured that others may be interested. I will report back about this unit after I have had a chance to test and use it.
