I was shown this method around 5 years ago, and when I saw it happen, I had the same attitude as you!I'm annoyed Cranky. You've been holding out. Do you have any idea how much garlic it takes for tomatillo salsa?!? I've been doing it clove by clove for several years. This took 20 seconds.
Works pretty good for a couple of pods, but anything more you'll need to stick to the bowls.
I've been doing it that way for a long time, but in a large metal bowl, with a smaller one on top.
I like your idea much better & will give it a try next time.
