Early superbowl brisket! With Que vue

Hi all,

Decided to do a brisket for today and make chili tomorrow for the superbowl!

SPOG with more OG then SP.

Put it on this morning at 6am. A brisk -20c or -4f out when I put it on. It's gotten colder as the day goes on. Right now it's -34c or -29f..

WSM ran out of fuel about 8 hrs into the cook. Luckily the brisket had hit the stall so it was a perfect time to take it out.

Finishing in the oven .

What's that old saying "It's colder then a witches t## in a brass bra" -29 your a braver sole than I. I love smoking in the winter, but only do shorter cooks. Your brisket looks like it's off to a good start. Keep us posted.
