Was delivered Monday and I'm addicted...she got me a cast iron juicer. Now I'm addicted to this thing and no piece of fruit stands a chance in our house. I've already managed to squeeze the wife's entire bowl of fruit that sits on the counter as well as 2 bags of oranges. Tonight's mixture includes a pinapple, 2 oranges, a carrot, and an apple. It's delicious, and really drives home how much better real food is than the crap you buy at the store.

The carafe here has a capacity of 2L, so I would say it yielded about 1.5L, kids already drank it up.

Congratulations, now toss the skins into the juice to make it really tasty. To test My statement make lemonade, one serving with the peel one serving without. It’s the oils from the skins that kick it up a notch.
I am curious how a carrot works on that thing.

I'll give it a try but this thing presses so well there's nothing really left but solid matter when it's done.

As for carrots, gotta shred them with a cheese grater, then I put the pieces in a hops bag I had laying around from beer brewing and pressed them. 1 carrot yielded about 2 TB of juice...not a lot, but it helped mellow the acidity quite a bit from the orange and pineapple.

Just a thought, take the carrots and some of your juice in a blender, then use your hops bag to strain it after you whiz it up.
