Boston butt is on sale here @ $.99lb and I bought WAY more than I needed..... Question is, instead of freezing the extra butts and then using the dry rub after the thaw, is it just as effective to rub them all now and freeze the already rubbed meat? Does this make a difference?

Salt in the Rub has a negative effect on meat. Even store bought Corned Beef should be rinsed before freezing to maintain quality Not worth the saved minutes...JJ

Thanks, did not think it made a difference. They will go in without seasoning.
