Looks like your ladies have settled into their new home well. We are now getting 6 eggs/day and lots of bounty from the garden. Do you have a local food bank that takes your extra eggs?

Man that would almost be worth the drive up from Memphis!

Yeah already contacted all 3 of them, cant take un inspected eggs.
I post on the local FB page for free but have had no reply to pick up. Im thinking on scrambling them and pulverizing the shells to feed back to the chix.

Thats a little bit of a haul but if you do you can have them all. I have 2 dz in the basket still and not yet gathered for today, little early still

Well knowing you, I bet your gonna have a whole bunch of pickled eggs!
I eat 2-3 eggs a day, so I sure wish I was your neighbor!

I actually do but I can get them from the grocery for about 3$/30 and I don't mind store bought lol.

But, like er'body else if I was 10-20 miles from you I'd take you up!

Not sure what kind of a road you live on or how much traffic it gets, but we had decent luck selling ours out of a cooler at the end of the driveway. That was until someone stole the whole cooler... we even had on the sign that if you couldn't afford a dozen eggs that you could just take them. We had ~150 layers at the time and while we were selling most if them to regular customers we couldn't sell them all and the kids were getting real tired of quiche and fritatta 2-3 days a week.

After the cooler theft we just left cartons of eggs at the end of the drive with a free sign.

Edit: spelling

Rick, Wow on your egg supply! I see some Scottish eggs in your future . :)

Wish I did. We are camping and forgot to pack some. The store on the campground wants 11.00 for a dozen!
