Do Smoker Prices Change????

I have been using my New Braunsfel for the summer and want to go bigger and either electric or propane. I have been watching prices and they have increased from May thru August. So has anyone noticed if there is a reduction in pricing in the fall or toward Christmas? When is the best time to buy?...JJ

Prices usually come down in the fall.

I agree with Al, but also if you buy a smoker from Cabela's, and you regularly get their flyers, around holidays they send out bigger coupons, like $50 or $80 off, instead of $20 off. I would imagine Bass Pro & Gander Mt would be similar, but I don't know for sure.

The cost of steel has gone up huge since last year.  You may not see a huge price drop this fall.  Supply and demand always comes into it and if retailers are sitting on product that cost will come down.

Smoker prices go down as summer winds down around here.  I bought my CG with SFB for 50% at the grocery store last year.  Some weird places sell them sometimes and they just seem to want to get rid of them at the end of the summer.

I know the Sam's here where I live mark the left over MES's down each fall. Usually at least $50 off  and keep dropping til they move.

JJ, mornin'.........When I was lookin'......I kept on the web and had several sites that sold the MES 30........After about 2 months wmart had a price roll back to $179 with free shipping to a local store...I jumped on it since it was the lowest price I had seen by $20. I think that was in January this year.

Thanks for the heads-up Dave, but our friends at Geiko just unexpectedly pulled $600 out of an $800 paycheck!  Just think what the Mrs. will cut off if I say," Hey Honey, I'm going to send Amazon $200 for a new Smoker"!   I shutter at the thought!...JJ
