DigiQ Dx2/WSM 22"

Hi All Questions.
1. With the DigiQ DX 2 how do you handle the top vent..Read something in the manual saying just keep it open a little?
2. How do you set the ramp option?
3. When finished how do you close down the WSM?

PS Just got my Digi Q, haven't used it yet..Just reading the manual.

Top vent wide open.
You will get a set of directions with the unit & it will explain how to do that.
I never use it because it will shut the fire down when it's getting close to being done.
Unless you are not going to be home when the meat is done, then it would work.
To shut the WSM down just close the top vent & you will get a plug to plug the fan hole up with. You just slide the fan out & put the plug in. Then the fire will go out.

Hi The plug is the rubber thing that came with the fan?
Directions weren't too clear about the setting the ramp. Have to go back and read again.
