Bought this pink cure ! Question is how much do I use per pound of meat ? Has sodium nitrate 6.25 percent

Sodium NITRITE... probably you made a typo, but it is an important distinction.

Use at a rate of 0.25% by weight of meat...best to weigh in grams.

Nitrate is used for dry curing meats only.

i use 1 teaspoon for every 5lb's of meat,

Teaspoons are not made accurately... These have a 25% difference in volume...
For about $12, you could measure the poison you are adding to the meat accurately, using a digital scale....

Yes, 0.04 oz. = 1.134grams...28.35 grams in 1 oz. so 28.35g. cure/25# meat = 1.134 grams per pound of meat.

Much much easier to just use grams when making sausages.
