Country Style Sausage (Air Fryer 360)

This Fresh Sausage always turns out so good made in either of my Hot Air Fryers, so I’ll be doing them in an Air Fryer just about all the time. It’s real easy to do @ about 360° for about 14 minutes.
With this new Air Fryer 360 it’s even easier than in my small Air Fryer, because when I put them in the Wire Basket they don’t have to be flipped halfway through the cooking time. All they need is to be Pricked a few times with a Fork to avoid any bad things happening. LOL

So that’s what I did:
I Pricked the skins with a Fork, laid them in the Basket, put the Basket in the Fryer, Put the Baking Pan in the Fryer, below the Basket (to catch drippings), set it at 360° & 20 minutes. I’m really only going to cook them for about 14 minutes, but I set it at 20 minutes, so I can pause it at 14 minutes to make sure they’re done. In fact I checked them at 14 minutes & removed them, because they were all over 165° IT.

Note: The only thing not quite right here was the sausages didn’t get nicely browned all the way around, like they always have in previous cooks. I’m thinking it was probably because A (Dumb Bear) forgot to coat both sides with Olive Oil, like you’re supposed to do, and I always have in the past.
Next time I’m going to coat all of the sausages with Olive Oil except one, just to see if this was the reason.

Understand Now—They all Tasted Awesome, just like they always do, but they didn’t look all nice a Brown this time. (Check Pics Below)

No Sides this time—Just two nice “Country Style Fresh Sausage Sammies”. I actually do that pretty often. I'm not big on sides, when I'm enjoying Sammies!!

Thanks for looking,

Bear

Thank You Richie!!
Mrs Bear gets them at Giant. She goes there every Friday morning.
She only uses Weis' for quick stops because they're much closer, and she goes by there every day.
And Thanks for the Like.

This one takes longer to figure out the controls, but there sure is a lot more room for things than the little black ones, like I have for a couple years.

As always, great looking stuff Bear and fantastic step by step. Love the idea of the sauce and peppers. I may have to play around and create something interesting. I simply LOVE a good sausage sammie, that's for sure!! Recently I made some meatballs from all homemade Italian sausage, my spicy marinara, and did some sammies with that which were really good!! I keep wanting to post them but other stuff keeps coming up and I don't get that one done.

You sir are however a deviant man....but in a very good way :emoji_laughing: After reading one of your previous posts singing the praises about the 360 Air Fryer, i did a bit of reading and ordered mine last weekend. It'll be here in a couple days and I can't wait. Of course Tracy saw the charge show up on the CC statement and asked "So....what the Hell did you buy this time". I'd already greased the skids for this one so it wasn't a total surprise, except she had no idea the cost. She had the $89 price in her mind we paid for the current air fryer. Oh well, she didn't say "no" so I ordered it :emoji_wink:

LOL---I often use Ketchup on Fresh Sausage, but not as often now that we can get this "Tallarico's Peppers in Sauce".
It's Hot Dogs & Pork Roll that get Mustard!!!
