Country Style Sausage (Air Fryer 360)
This Fresh Sausage always turns out so good made in either of my Hot Air Fryers, so I’ll be doing them in an Air Fryer just about all the time. It’s real easy to do @ about 360° for about 14 minutes.
With this new Air Fryer 360 it’s even easier than in my small Air Fryer, because when I put them in the Wire Basket they don’t have to be flipped halfway through the cooking time. All they need is to be Pricked a few times with a Fork to avoid any bad things happening. LOL
So that’s what I did:
I Pricked the skins with a Fork, laid them in the Basket, put the Basket in the Fryer, Put the Baking Pan in the Fryer, below the Basket (to catch drippings), set it at 360° & 20 minutes. I’m really only going to cook them for about 14 minutes, but I set it at 20 minutes, so I can pause it at 14 minutes to make sure they’re done. In fact I checked them at 14 minutes & removed them, because they were all over 165° IT.
Note: The only thing not quite right here was the sausages didn’t get nicely browned all the way around, like they always have in previous cooks. I’m thinking it was probably because A (Dumb Bear) forgot to coat both sides with Olive Oil, like you’re supposed to do, and I always have in the past.
Next time I’m going to coat all of the sausages with Olive Oil except one, just to see if this was the reason.
Understand Now—They all Tasted Awesome, just like they always do, but they didn’t look all nice a Brown this time. (Check Pics Below)
No Sides this time—Just two nice “Country Style Fresh Sausage Sammies”. I actually do that pretty often. I'm not big on sides, when I'm enjoying Sammies!!
Thanks for looking,
Bear
