This weekend's comfort food will be kielbasa, bacon and sauerkraut.
I fry the bacon until crispy, then remove it from the pan.
Slice kielbasa into 1/4" slices and brown in bacon grease.
Add kielbasa, grease and crumbled bacon to a heavy pot filled with sauerkraut. add caraway seed, a little black pepper and simmer.
Good stuf.
