[h1]I'm going to smoke brats & Italian sausage I was told that to use Apple & Hickory wood chips for the brats would that be good for Italian Sausage too.---thanks--Ken[/h1]

It would be fine. I would urge you to experiment with different woods with different meats. There is no perfect wood for a specific meat, it's a personal preference as to which wood works with each different meat. What tastes great to you may not to other people. That's what's so cool about this hobby. You are always experimenting with so many different variables.
