@dirtsailor2003 has atleast one, he loves them.

I’ve thought about getting one. The original version is a big milk can.....I’ve had some killer seafood boils on the coast of Maine out of them!!!

I’m always up for a new cooking contraption!! Going to have to Google this and read up.

I have one but haven't used it in years. Makes great pot roast. It really helps if you have the rack that goes in the bottom. It keeps food from sticking to the bottom if liquid gets low.
Great to see this thread, I'll have to get it back out again.

Always found them interesting but never got around to learning how to use one...JJ

If there's enough interest in CanCooker/Cream can cooking, I'll see if we can get a sub forum going.

Interesting. What kind of stuff is it used for?
SmokingUPnorth, the first meal out of mine was boneless, skinless chicken thighs, kielbasa sausage, corn on the cob, and potatoes.
Sunday's supper will be a low country boilcrayfish, shrimp, kielbasa and andouille sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob. We even did pineapple upside-down cake with it!

I would be glad to contribute. Just ordered Vol. II cookbook from Amazon.
It is going to be fun knocking the dust off of that ol' can.

If you look at the different forums zippy, it's not all about smoking meat!

This! Even though my girlfriend likes to tell people that " He smokes everything. If you stand still long enough he'll smoke you". I appreciate tips on all manner of cooking methods. I've got an instant pot, and use it. Got a simple steaming pot, and use it. Got good old cast iron fry pans and use them.

Got a handful of smokers and grills and use them all.

It's all good and if I can find a tip on improving my methods with any of them I am all for it.

I’ve never even heard of one before this.
Just what I need, another toy!
I do, I know I do!

You know the old mantra "Whomever dies with the most toys, wins!" :emoji_laughing::emoji_sunglasses:
