Welp, I done went and did it!  Saw an OK Joes smoker at Wally World and brought it home.  The steel isn't as thick as I thought it would be, but it is a lot thicker than the Charbroils they carry.  Haven't fired it up yet and kind of having buyers remorse and strongly considering returning it and sticking with my trusty New Braunfels that is much heavier

Anyone have the Highland model?  There are several things I like about it, but it's thin skin (compared to the Braunfels) is worrying me

Google Oklahoma Joe's Highland smoker/grill for the lowdown

Why are you going from a NB to a new Oklahoma Joe ?  Is there something wrong with the NB ?

Nothing really "wrong" with my NB, but the OK Joe's CC is a bit bigger and the FB sets lower and won't pool the heat in the upper part as much as the NB.  OK J also has heavy steel legs and cool steel wheels, so I was sucked in by some of the features.  I could mod the NB, but I don't have the time lately to spend on a project
