My brother is in town for a few days from Portland OR. So I'm smoking a 8lb butt and 3 racks of baby backs. Butt is on the smoker holding steady at 230 right now haha. I'll post plenty of pics as the cook progresses.
Sure wish they were serving ribs and pulled pork like what I'm seeing here at the place we just stoped at on our Route 66 vacation. On the route is a world champion barbecue place called Whole Hog across from Bass Pro in Springfield Missouri. Either they were having a bad day or they just aren't that good, because I ordered a combo plate to try baby backs, pulled pork and brisket and it was all dry and flavorless the only thing good was the sides. I am not hard to please but I expect food to be at least close to as good as I can cook. I have done enough cooking to know that your food is spot right on without trying it.
Randy,
PS Mama always said "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all", but I just had to let you know that your food is better than a world champion.
