Burgers on my Weber “Q” (More of my New Mix)

OK Guys, This is another batch of my Deerburger Replacement Mix, using 75% Beef and 25% Pork. Much better than straight Beef, and almost as good as My Deerburger Mix.
So We turned 2 pounds of My new Mix into 5 Patties of 1/3 lb+ each, after mixing 3 TBS of Worcestershire sauce in it. These were bigger than we usually make them.
I got Mrs Bear to carry them out to my grill & back in, so they don’t go flying anywhere, and my Weber “Q” did a fine job on these burgers too. I usually put a slice of cheese on one or two before I remove them from the grill, but I forgot to take the cheese out with me, and I didn’t feel like making the extra trip. So I put the cheese on inside & nuked it for 20 seconds to melt.

I added a Mix of Mustard & Ketchup to my First Roll & the Burger. (No Cheese)

The second night, I coated both sides of a Roll with Mrs Bear’s BBQ Sauce, and some Bacon. (No Cheese)

Then the Third Night, I had a Cheeseburger with Jeff’s Awesome BBQ Sauce. Then a bunch of Bacon, some Pickle Chips, and a couple of Pickled Red Beet Eggs.

Then the 4th night, I had one more Cheeseburger with Mrs Bear’s BBQ Sauce, and some Sweet Cherry Peppers on the side.

These were all Great tasting Burgers!!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Bear

I really like a beef pork mix, and the cheeseburger with bacon looks killer

Boy howdy John, you are making that new Q talk, Like! That's a darned fine assortment of flavors going on, sign me up for one of the ones with bacon on it! RAY

Look's good Bear ! I am still waiting on the vine ripe tomato so I can cook up some burgers too. And a big slice of Walla Walla onion in the middle

Nice job Bear, this is deff burger weather and yours look perfect. Id like a couple of them eggs too. Edit-- I like the micro cheese idea, no mess on the grill that way

Nice job Bear! and nice grill marks!

Thank You Charlie!!
Yup---I didn't drown the new Grate with Grill Spray this time, so I got better Grill marks.
And Thanks for the Like.

Those all look good John. I'm partial to the Bacon ones of course. I've never tried cherry peppers with a Burger before, sounds like a good plan. Great work.

LOL---Burger Pattie is a little bigger than McD's Patties:

A quarter is bigger then a McD's patty John.

Your mix is very close to my meatloaf mix. I go 3:1 ground beef to pork. Those plated shots look awefully good, but wheres the open faced burger covered in gravy? If I didn't have a blood pressure check up at the end of the week - I'd be all over any one of those.

Point for sure
Chris

Looking good, John!! I really like the beef/pork mix too. Our ground beef is 95/5, so the pork adds just enough fat.
Gary

Thank You Gary!!
Yup---The Pork makes it a little more Moist.

Thank You Mike!!
The first time I had those Peppers was at a Bar in Springtown, PA.
They had one of the best Cheesesteaks around, and they put a couple of those Peppers on the side. I loved them, but it took me a long time to find where I could get them.
And Thanks for the Like.

YUM! Love a good burger. The Pickled Red Beet Eggs look amazing, do you have one of your recipes for that I could try?

I have made mustard eggs and are a real favourite around here. I reckon your beet eggs will be the same.
