BURGER REVIEW !

 I just returned from visiting family in Dallas Texas , I didn't get back to the first place I had tried BBQ many years ago ...BUT  I did get to go to a great Burger place

I had seen this place on Diners, Drive ins and Dives ( great show)  So while in Dallas I had to check it out .       THE TWISTED ROOT BURGER CO.

This place was fantastic !  if ya ever watch the show check out this episode  OR yer in Dallas ya won't be disjointed

 They had so many different , types of stuff ya could get on yer burger , I forget the mix they use ...it wasn't 80-20 , it was something odd ....... BUT the Burgers where real good size ( after cooking) Juicy tons a flavor .....here's a link to the clip of the show ....

I have been watching DDD since it started and have tried to go to as many of the places that I can. Now some are good but some are pretty bad to. Like the Shed in Mississippi pretty much sucks unless you like alot I mean swimming alot in sauce and boiled ribs then that place could be right up your alley. It seems like a great place to hang out in and drink and party but don't eat. I have been dragged there 3 times by workers and even they didn't like it Oh well live and learn and spread the news.

Sounds like a great place to visit for a burger, but I bet if you try you can make one just as good!

I saw that Episode...His Ribs spent more time in Foil than Smoke and He put 150lbs of Brown Sugar in, what,  20 Gallon of Sauce!...That's Award Winning Q?...JJ

 Well, I ain't sayin I agree with every show or some of the recipes ( I saw the one with all that sugar...EIK ! ) But this one was worth the trip the burgers where great ...The other show I DO AGREE 100% with was the one they did on Buzz & Ned's in Richmond here .

When I moved back to the states last year I went there for Ribs ...and They where  by far the best I ever had ( so far)

He had done a "Throw Down" with Bobby Flay  He has shirts saying   " The Flay Slayer"    The Q is great , but them RIBS !
