Dave - That looks like a great place to shop for very smallish "bulk".

I poked around the site a bit.

Nice place.

Personally, for me, I'm not so sure the product is any different than what I suggested, other than marketing posture, which can be huge in this case.

My palate is totally pleased w the cheaper stuff.

Whether It's my particular palate, or hype, could be debated forever outside of a Laboratory.

Course we have Sams Club, etc, actually even way better in many cases ---  Restaurant depot ( IF you have one local, OMG go there and browse for 4 hours)

Almost anybody can get in, not as restrictive as they make it appear.

But for online check this link out.

No, duh, I have no connection w them.

Trying to help.  Marc

Thanks, I just looked and there is a restaurant depot in New Orleans. Now I have to go check it out soon!!!

Sounds like Gordon Food Service here. Big bottles of spices reasonably priced. They cater to restaurants, but anybody can buy. I also get briskets and boneless butts there...

Indaswamp - Google about rest depot and their restrictions for your visit BEFORE you go.

Way more bark than bite.

Anybody w ANY^ tax # license can buy there.

Basically just smoke to keep out "riff raff".

I suggest NO small kids, less'n mature and behaved.

At least, not first visit when you apply for your card.

O, there is no membership cost like Sam's, but free.

Like business license title "Bob's Exhaust Service" NO problem they just want the tax # cause they do not charge it.

"Nerdman's computer repair", no problem.

Does NOT have to be "Mario's Restaurante" at all.

IF, worst case, you run into a Nazi at cust service, although I never heard of this, just tell them you are buying for a large company BBQ.

Again, google it, but I never heard of any difficulty.

O  bring cash, otherwise may get sticky.

AWESOME place, specially if you have a big freezer and / or "pantry".

If you are price conscious of foods, you will see many things there are a steal, many others not so much, no big deal.

Reallymvaries item to item.

Report back.     Marc,

Will do, thanks!

Below is a current sale ad, available at their website.

I think monthly, not sure of frequency.

Again, you will see some stuff super cheap. other stuff not so much.

Like mushrooms - 10 lbs for $13.25    around 3.25 / lb minimum at other stores.

Cheeses, sliceable deli meats, stuff like various frozen items - potatos, veggies,  really good prices.

Definately better than Sam's or Costco overall, much stuff WAY less $.

Just gotta know about what you usually pay for stuff at your regular store to appreciate what to get, and NOT get at RD.

They have HUGE walk in freez and cool rooms, jackets hang for customers at entrance to them.

Spices - great place.

Like even odd stuff - Like many buy Knorr Veg soup in little envelope for Spinach dip.at their grocery store- not cheap  - This place has their house brand in a big like 2 qt plastic jug superrrr cheap. - Definately comparable to Knorrs, but little less salty

Same thing w Knorr Hollandaise mix - insane low price in jug.

They have a variety of meats you normally don't see, like Cabrito on top of the standard stuff.

Some of the fresh meat may not be as cheap as occasional sale prices at your chain grocery, but everyday prices are great.

Like where I live grocery store had Swift babyback racks on sale recently @99cents, $2.64 i think everyday at RD.

A good example of know your prices really helps, being able to spot a deal.

Anyway, don't be too put off by the big packages, cause MANY things are available broken case singly.

Ya, go there, it's like heaven.   Marc
