Does anyone brine their brisket? Is there any advantage to doing so?

Never tried it, but the science suggests brining should help tenderness and retain moisture. Curious to see if others had success...JJ

I thought about using my bird brine on one this weekend.

I think for brisket injecting is the easiest way to get flavor & moisture into the meat.

But that's just me!

I don't think beef benefits from brining. Like Al said injecting is the way to go if you feel you need extra moisture. But if cooked properly there is no need to do even that.

Thanks all, now I know why nothing came up in the forum searches.
