Dang. Didn't know pa had catfish that big

Yeah, 40 in 29 lbs. I caught it off the catwalk at the safe harbor dam. The biggest one caught there, unfortunately not by me , was 66lbs.

Yes it was! I tried smoking some, but it didn’t turn out real good, so I usually deep fry it. Does anyone have a good smoked catfish recipe?

nice flattie compulsive. i wish our rivers were clean enough to eat bigger ones. level 5 on most our rivers for bigger fish(26"+).
