For the first time I'm planning on brining my turkey this year and I know you should use a food safe container. Now, here's the situation I'm in......I'm living in Italy and w/ the language barrier, it has become rather difficult to find one of these containers. As a back up, I've heard of people using the drawers from their fridge to brine their turkeys, but that didn't go over to well w/ the Mrs. So, I was able to come across a clear, 30 qt rubbermaid container and thought if people are using their fridge drawers, would this be acceptable? I'd love to hear inputs. Btw, if this isn't where this post belongs, my apologies....I thought I'd put it here since it deals w/ poultry.
