It works, but sure sucks the fuel compared to the Mini!!! And I could've fit all this on the mini with some planning. Stable yes, large and could cook more yes. But man it's a fuel burner! Still running it to see how long it will go, really have to load a WSM up to make it worth the cook compared to the mini!!!!

As good as them ribs look, I really should have hit the road ! That WSM if it's anything like mine will get better fuel consumption after its seasoned !

I'm sure it will! I'm just used to the Mini-WSM!

I'am sure you knew that though ! it's hard to beat the mini on fuel.... It's like the Duracell bunny of smokers, the thing just keep going !

Man oh man those are some tasty looking ribs.  I've got two racks of SLCs in the fridge to smoke today and now I'm itching to fire up the smoker.  Unfortunately SWMBO'd is still sound asleep, the smoker is on the deck below our bedroom window, and there's no quiet way to fire that baby up (trust me, I've tried). 

I passed up a new 14.5" WSM $150 yesterday on CL.  Gone today.  Thankfully it was an hour away and at 15 MPG on my truck it didn't make sense at $3.50/gallon of gas.......that's my excuse anyway!

Thank you! I know the gas crunch feeling! Thankfully we've been under the $3/ gallon mark still. I had to buy a little car when we hit $4+ for diesel a few years back. Thought I was back in Hawaii!
