Boneless Thighs & Tater Wedges in my Air Fryer 360 (More experiments)

Yeah, I’m still experimenting with this thing, and still learning.
I ran into a problem, but I got it figured out:
I was having trouble with it not coming on right, and had to keep playing with the controls.
I was beginning to think there was something loose in the controls.
I finally discovered that you have to make your settings after plugging it in, then hit the “Start/Pause” button. I’m used to turning things on, before making the settings.
Now everything is working Fine. All I have to do is;
#1. Plug it in.
#2. Make all the settings.
#3. Hit Start.

Now Back to Business:
We got a pack of 4 Boneless, Skinless Thighs out of the freezer & thawed them out.
Then I put my Special Breading Machine to work, and got a nice coat of Flour, Egg, and Italian Bread Crumbs on them.
Then into the fridge until needed.

Next I got a Tater out, and cut it into Wedges, and put them in a bowl of cold water.

Then about 45 minutes before Supper Time, I dried off the Tater Wedges, and sprayed them with Olive Oil, and sprinkled them with some Seasoning Mrs Bear picked up at Giant.
Then I Sprayed Olive Oil on both sides of the Chicken pieces & put them in the Wire Basket.
Then I put the Tater Wedges in the open area left in the Wire Basket.
Since I use the Wire Basket, there’s no need to flip things over when half way done.
Then I put the Rack, Pans & Basket where they need to be, and set the Fryer to 380° for 30 Minutes, and hit “Start”.
I checked the stuff at 25 minutes, and found it all to be finished, so I removed the Basket & Shut the Fryer down & unplugged it.

The Chicken was Excellent & the Tater Wedges weren’t too bad either.

My first Night’s Supper I had a Chicken Thigh, some Tater Wedges, and a Leftover Zucchini Crab Cake ( Recipe Compliments of @HalfSmoked ).

My Second Night’s Supper was a Chicken Thigh, Some Spanish Rice, and another leftover Zucchini Crab Cake, with some Cocktail Sauce for Dipping.

Thanks For stopping by, Guys & Gals!!

That stuff comes out great in that air fryer NICE !!

Looks good Bear, I could go for some of that chicken.

I also need to make Warren’s zucchini crab cake recipe.

Like!

Nice!

We just got an airfryer last week and I'm loving it for sure.Everything we've done it came out great especially wings and onion rings.

Looks good Bear!! I got one with a rotisserie built in for my birthday last year. I’ve basically used it mostly for rotisserie chicken and killer wings. I also used the rotisserie / kabob attachment to do chicken shawarma with thighs.

Wow...that looks fantastic Bear. Next time Tracy goes out of town I gotta do some of those crab cakes. I love them but she doesn't eat seafood or chicken...unfortunately.

We LIKE that one sir!!

You don't have to wait until She leaves town---Mrs Bear doesn't eat any Seafood either, but there isn't any Seafood in this "Mock Crab Cake"--It's base is Zucchini. She likes this stuff too. Here's the Recipe:

And Thanks for the Like.
BTW: She might like the Chicken too, since it isn't greasy with this "AirFryer 360".

everything looks great bear, ya got love those boneless thighs so much better then the breast. got to say your breading machine does a great job, the chicken looks tasty even before it's cooked.

Bear, did you purchase the regular or the XL? Does it say the weight in owners manual ? I looked on site under specifications and didn't say. I would have to keep in pantry and pull out when used as not enough counter space to leave out.

Very much appreciate the link to the crab cakes. I'm certainly gonna give it a look. Insofar as Tracy eating chicken though, it ain't gonna happen. She's allergic to it and i'd never try serving her anything that has any sort of chicken in it. It'd pain me to poison my wife. The only time I can cook chicken is if we are doing a big shindig that will have numerous proteins served. then I can cook it for the masses and she can eat something else.

Many thanks sir!! Your legacy continues and you're an and inspiration to all of us!

OK---I sorry--I didn't know it was an allergy. I thought it was maybe like Me, when I didn't care for Fried Chicken, because it was so greasy. I only ate some because Mrs Bear liked it, but since I got this AirFryer 360, I love Air Fried Chicken, but I'm not allergic to it. The only thing I'm allergic to is Raw Onions!:emoji_angry:

I have the XL, but I don't use it much since I got the one I used here. It is the "Emeril's Hot Air Fryer 360" (Below), and it's about the size of a Toaster Oven.

Ok, this settles it. I need to go on a quest to find one of these. We bought a big air fryer a couple years ago but it only has one large basket, no shelves like yours has. That would make a HUGE difference in usability. I can only do ine thing and it's a virtual impossibility to do anything breaded or crusted. With all the flipping you have to do for even cooking, all the coating falls off.

I'm gonna do this!!
Robert

Chicken and taters look great bear. Glad you figured it out. For Bears next night supper. I can see a little Parmesan cheese, topped with a good marinara and mozzarella.

Point for sure

Hmmm Mindreader???
I'm making something tonight in my Air Fryer with Marinara & Mozzarella.
We'll see how that turns out.

Thank You Norm!!
I started with the PowerAirFryer WL, and it works Great, but there's not enough room in it for much. This AirFryer 360 has plenty of room.

Looks good . I need to try the chicken in mine . Point for soaking the taters .

I was referring to this Emeril unit. They have it in 2 different sizes reg and XL.
Was trying to find out the weight if needed to get out of pantry for each use.
