Thank You!!I was thinking there would be bigger piles of snow, that blower must really send it flying! Glad to hear it's getting back to normal.
My Son did the main Driveway, and where he did it there's huge piles.
I just did my Driveway up to where it meets his with my Gravely & Blower.
That thing will blow a Dry snow like this one was, up to 100 feet. I keep it blowing almost straight up to spread it out, unless the wind is blowing back at me. Then I lower the top deflector so it doesn't blow far. That thing works Awesome!!!
The only problem is when the snow is deeper than 22", I have to raise the blower off the ground, then move into it about 10'. Then back up, lower it to the ground, and go forward again to clean it up.
In other words, Snows over 22" deep I have to do twice to get it down to the Blacktop.

Yup----Whenever we have to shovel, we always cut it in shovel size blocks. That makes it so much easier when it doesn't fall apart as you're lifting it.
Once I had to clear a waist-high drift blocking a sidewalk, and instead of randomly shoveling at it I used the shovel to cut out blocks like giant sugar cubes. It was like I quarried it out.
My blower is a late 1970s Jacobsen 2-stroke. This was 2008.
Years ago, before I had any blower, I took 3 days to shovel the driveway I had at that time. There was a Drift that was about 50' long & 7' high. It was like digging a grave, having to throw the snow up 9 or 10' to keep it from falling back in the driveway.
