Bismarck Nd's Home Depot closing

Well today was the first day of the closing sale at our local Home Depot....Ours was one of the unlucky 15 that they are closing across the country............Ours was only open for almost 3 years.....It sucks to see them closing.......I got a few deals today, but no great deals only 10 percent off on most things alittle more on others.......I did get some new wheels to replace the ones on the char-griller and add two more to it......But I guess everyone thought that they would close sooner or later......The store was never real busy compared to Menards or Lowes...........They messed up and built to close to Menards, which has been here for twenty some years now............

Sorry to hear about HD closing in your area, Kookie. FL was lucky and didn't lose any, although I'm sure this is just the beginning of many more store closings.

From what I heard up here on the news they closed 15 and stopped plans of opening 50 new ones......

Already bought a new grill/smoker in March........Did get a few new tools........

Sad to hear HD closing, Sioux City has Menards, Lowes, Home Depot also Menards the longest here in S.C HD does not do too much sales that I have seen

yes they are closeing the one in bever dam wisconsin too i love hd but for me to go to one it is 40 min away. menards is only 10 min away

That's too bad kookie, I'd got to HD er lowes ferin I'd go to Menards! Ours sucks and yall better know whatin ya want and wherin it's at cause them kids a workin there sure don't! Q selection is better at the goodwill store then Menards! Times is tough and it's a only gonna get worse!

Heard many were closing. Haven't seen a list, but it wouldn't surprise me to see ours close. It's usually pretty quiet in there, especially on weekdays.

yup, ours too... always slow.... and the worst service ive ever experianced... I worked at one years ago and they had alot of pride in customer seervice... must not anymore... that might be why???

Ours is still open but I don't know for how long. The service there is terrible. Stock is low and usually setting in the isles. We have 2 home grown home improvement stores, both Jerry's. They are larger than HD, stock way more items and are always asking you if they can help you. So I suppose ours will be gone in the not too long future...
