Birthday Burger Dogs!!!

That's right, it's a burger it's a dog it's a birthday burger dog! My oldest turned 12 yesterday and today we had his party and are having a guys backyard camp out. Of course I fired up the Mini-WSM and smoked some grub! Some wings, burgers and the famous burger dog!

That is just Awesome!!!!! A dog inside a burger!!!

I was in Spokane years ago and went in a restaurant and they had a "dog gonner" which was a dog on top of a burger but putting it inside is just Genius!!!

Well done and I bet the kids just love it! Sounds like you guys are having a Great guys night out!!!

I was surprised by the flavor of the burger area by the dog! Was really good. I think version 2.0 I will cut the dog in half length wise and them again width wise. And then completely surround the dog with burger. This was a visual thing for the kids. But the flavor of the Nathan's beef dog and the hamburger was awesome!

Thats terrific! Years ago I got to play golf at a club outside of San Francisco, real nose in the air kinda place. But I found out they were famous for their Hamburgers on a hotdog bun called it a burger-dog. Really brings your opinions back to earth.

I bet the kids loved it. LOL and you'll have the first "X-wing" burger.......

I do something similar but split the dog lengthwise so there is more dog cover in the burger!
