Hey John, I tried this rub today on a brisket flat.
The brisket was fine. but the excess rub tasted bitter. Any thoughts?

Not sure man...Too much rub, old spices, burnt spices, too much smoke... I dunno.

Nice flat Chile. I get it, I've eaten a few meals where sidearms were close to ensure folks didn't take food from my plate! I'm gonna try your rub on my next brisket.
