I have used mostly hickory and apple wood and would like to try something different!
Any suggestions!?!?!?!?

Cherry wood has a nice flavor so does maple.

Cool I will definitely give those a try! Used a mix of hickory and jack Daniels oak on game hens and it tasted pretty good! Can't wait to try maple and cherry. Thank very much!

Kinda hard to say not knowing what smoker you have.

I like cob and maple if bird is cured and smoking at a lower temp.

If cooking at high temps its oak wood spinning the bird.

Oak, maple, cherry, pecan are all good. I like a combo of oak and maple.

Cherry is my typical go to for poultry. Sometimes I switch over to Pecan.
