Been lurking for a while, finally joined

Hello Everyone!!


My name is Chase and I decided that after lurking for months and reading/researching that I should go ahead and join the site, so here I am.


I recently purchased the Char-Griller with side firebox. I have not had time to put it together yet, but do have a long list of supplies so that I can make the necessary modifications for it to perform better.

I have been a long time griller and grew up on a farm where my father grilled year round no matter the weather. Snow, rain, you got it.

I am in Kansas City, MO - so the standards for bbq and smoked meat have been set pretty high already.


I look forward to reading more and getting to know some of you.
