Picked these up yesterday on a mgr special for $8. Not much meat but the wife's at the hospital with her sister so home alone and unsupervised. Soaked in W sauce with a little bit of B&B Texas Cattle Call rub I've been wanting to try. Coated some with my fav steak rub and plan to let them catch some smoke for a couple of hrs then crank up the heat.

After 2 hrs or so at 275 they're sitting around 160ish so crank the 1050 up to 550° for some more color

Maybe this will start a trend? Fire cooked beef rib sticks! I'll be honest, I'd eat a couple of them right now.

Keith, man do I love beef ribs! Sure sorry to hear of your fire, that stinks my friend! I hope most were salvageable! BTW, something like that has happened to all of us…

Also, prayers for your SIL!

On second look Keith, I’d do some damage to some of them… I don’t mind a crunch every so often on some ribs! Like I told Robert and Ray…. I’m adoptable and mostly housebroken! 😉

That’s a bummer, but at least you don’t have a crowd waiting! I’d join you to help polish them off!
Exactly Jed only $8 . And I still ate them so nothing to do but laugh about it. And that's the 1st fire I've had in over a year of heavy use.
Cooked chicken last weekend and should have cleaned the drip pan. But looks like it
self cleaned 😱

Keith, just thought I’d say… for what it’s worth… that has happened to me as well! Some of the ones that were a bit crispy that I didn’t eat, made a really good addition to some chili!
