Choice brisket at at Kroger in Southern Ohio is 7.99. Walmart is 3.86. Just got 4 at the Save a lot for 3.50. But I usually go to the nearby country slaughterhouses that retail meat.

Happy New Year to all: Here in North Jersey at the Restaurant Depot brisket was $4.05 for SAB, the other choice was $3.98.Walmart was cheaper but only saw select there.

Local grocery store is asking $19.99 for bone in prime rib. I'm kinda wishing my wife was a vegetarian right now lol.
I'm impatiently waiting for the prime rib sale this year. Usually always in december and this year I intend to buy enough and get them cut into bone in rib eyes for the year. I'm nervous there won't be a sale this year. Always saw them at Kroger in december

Brisket (choice) at our Walmart is and has been holding steady at 4.95 a pound. All things considered it’s not to bad.

Bought a 2.7lb chuck at Kroger on sale for $20. Regular price was $30. Robbery!

I ALSO WAIT FOR THE XMAS PRIME SALES EVERY YEAR, I'LL BUY 2-3 WHOLE-IN-BAG. NEVER IN 40 YEARS OF DOING THIS HAVE I PAID MORE THAN FIVE BUCKS A POUND, LAST YEAR I PAID $4.75LB. I STILL HAVE A WHOLE 22 POUNDER IN THE FREEZER I BOUGHT LAST YEAR, WILL PROCESS IT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. BEST PRICE I'VE SEEN SO FAR IS $12.99LB AT MY LOCAL SAFEWAY MARKET, NO THANKS!
