Well this was a few weeks ago, but the site was undergoing the maintenance at the time. Figured id share now.

My competition team/Catering co sponsored a fundraiser to make some money for the Huston Food Bank for hurricane Harvey relief. Was able to get Traeger Grills to donate the rubs, a local BBQ supply shop to donate sauces, a local baker to supply the buns and a local butcher to supply pork butts.
With the money we made the Houston Food bank will be able to provide over 4000 meals to those in need! We also had a butt and a half, and a big box of chips and plenty of buns leftover that we gave to the local homeless shelter.

Enjoy:

I cooked these babys competition style, and didn't spare any effort to make sure they were top notch. everyone ate them up, and had a great time. Most of all I think we were able to provide some much needed help to the folks struggling in Houston.

That's awesome... Great Job to you all...

on a side note... I tried to volunteer with "Operation BBQ Relief" when they were here in Fl after Irma... I was to late and they were about done for this job.. They came here straight from Houston ... That's a top notch operation as is your's... You will be rewarded when all said and done ...
