Lots of posts on grilling shrimp over the years.
Decided to give my take on a simple recipe.
No added seasoning.
The salt and sugar in the Costco reduced sodium bacon was enough seasoning for us.
Bacon wrapped around Costco peeled and deveined 20-25 shrimp.
On the 22" Weber kettle with off set cooking for 10 minutes. Flip and rotate hot side to cooler side for another 10 minutes.
Last couple minutes was directly over the coal to crisp up the bacon.

This my plated shot. Wife made a salad to go with her plate.

Wife said we need to do this more often. That's a win!

Looks great, brother inlaw in Tx got me hooked on those, he cut a cactus into thin strips after peeling, wrapped it up with the shrimp, really good for something different.

Looks good John. I been thing about trying that with some Waterfront 16 count shrimp I need to do something with. I quit buying them as they are always tough no mater how you cook them, even the sous vide. I have switched to the 26 count which are much better. Maybe put them in a jalapeno wrapped in bacon?

Very nice! Who says you need to have vegetables! Best surf and turf I've seen!

Looks GREAT! I need to try that. I remember Bear talking bacon wrapped scallops. Never had them either. On my to do list is a clone of our local sushi joints shrimp wrapped in wonton. Got some kinda paste or sauce inside with green onion I need to figure out.

Great looking grilled shrimp! I need to do bacon wrapped shrimp so thanks for the reminder! Also-congrats on the carousel ride. With beef prices so high, this is a great alternative. And who doesn't like bacon wrapped shrimp? Few and far between I would think!

Thanks for the ride and thanks to all the replies. I'll highlight some of the replies and questions.

These look good...

Was the bacon raw or did you partial cook it first so that it would get done before over cooking the shrimp ??
Thanks Keith
Because it was very thin bacon I didn't par cook. Just kept the morsels on the indirect side side of the kettle until the last minutes over the coals to crisp the bacon. The shrimp was cooked to perfection.

I need to go back and edit the IP to point that out.
