Great job! When the wife approves, you know you’re on the right track!
I have a very fickle wife. She didn't like a simple burger on the kettle and it took me a bit to figure out it is the beef source.
Looks good John. I been thing about trying that with some Waterfront 16 count shrimp I need to do something with. I quit buying them as they are always tough no mater how you cook them, even the sous vide. I have switched to the 26 count which are much better. Maybe put them in a jalapeno wrapped in bacon?
Thanks Brian
I have never had any great results with the larger than 20's shrimp. I even tried chopping them into steaks and also tough. I decided it was just what they are

Great looking grilled shrimp! I need to do bacon wrapped shrimp so thanks for the reminder! Also-congrats on the carousel ride. With beef prices so high, this is a great alternative. And who doesn't like bacon wrapped shrimp? Few and far between I would think!
Thanks Keith
Bacon makes everything better?
These were very costly in the end. I had 2-1/2# of gulf shrimp in the freezer that were supposed to be used for the roughly 1/2# we ate. When they started thawing we realized they were not good. Misfortune of getting shrimp that has been frozen, thawed as fresh, and refrozen. $30 in the garbage. Luckily I had a package of frozen that had never been thawed
