Man these are good! Pit date than fill with goat cheese and wrap in half slice bacon. Aldi's has good dates and goat cheese for pretty cheap.

Took Al's advice and no foil on drip pan but smoker ran hot without it. 100 degrees on right side. Guess my RecTeq is use to being foiled.

I keep saying I going to smoke next rack of ribs but that vortex keeps calling me. Think been over 2 years since I smoked any.

Looks great Brian! I love the vortex ribs if you want some guick ones. But there is something about the low and slow smoking.

Nice! I've done goat cheese in dates, but never smoked them. That's gonna change.
 
I've never had goat cheese or dates, but if it's wrapped in bacon, I'm sure I'll love it! Looks great!
