i did these on the grill last night and turned out awesome, provalon cheese, brown sugar ham, hickory smoked bacon and a nice layer of brown sugar over top. grill was set around 300 on indirect heat with some hickory chips in the smoke box.
i've done numerous ones in the smoker. i had a salesman tell me i could not do one on my grill with charring it to a crisp..so i had to prove him wrong..once again..lol
