Nice idea and cook! Point definitely

Those look really good heavy. Just what I needed another cook with bacon wrapped around it.

Point for sure.

Oh yeah, I'll be making these for sure. It sound a touch on the expensive side, but wow. Another one of those things I wouldn't have ever thought of.

Nice job!

I'm wondering if anyone has ever made stuff like this and then reheated them the next day ? Maybe an indirect heat for an aluminum pan stacked full of these to reheat on the Weber at 250. Would the bacon be crisp after that?

I've reheated the regular bacon wrapped onion rings, a blazing hot grill or broiler does the trick and re-crisps the bacon well.
Same goes for ABTs and most anything bacon wrapped.
Except Stuffed Moinks, they get really dry and need some serious help.

My bacon really softens up in the fridge so I've always done direct high heat to rewarm and recrisp.
Never tried another method.

Reheating Stuffed Moinks
A great way to reheat leftover Stuffed Moinks.

Slice stuffed moinks 1/2"-3/8" thick
In a saute pan melt 2T butter, add one can of Rotel and 1T minced garlic
Saute over med high heat for a few minutes and then add slices
Lower heat and saute till nice and hot
Serve with Rotel sauce spooned over slices
Yummy!

View attachment 369357 View attachment 369358 View attachment 369359 My son finally convinced me to try this. Recipe I used:
1 pound of ground beef
1 cup cheddar cheese
2 pounds of bacon
Salt, pepper, garlic
White onions

I set up but making some onion rounds and putting every other round together as a pair. Then smooshed in the beef/cheese:”/spices mixture and wrapped with bacon. I let it set up in the fridge for about 2 hours. Cooked for 70 minutes on the Lang with applewood at 300.

Results were glorious!!

Thanks for the inspiration.
