I’m still around and annoying folks. Been on the road a bunch visiting our daughter in the Netherlands and a month long road trip to Montana. Our son in law is visiting from the Netherlands Wednesday so we decided to make ribs which are uncommon there.

It is nice to be cooking again!

I think I could smoke them without propane, it has been so damned hot here! My thermometer and thermopen got too hot in the sun and had to have a break inside to cool off.

A smoked cheddar jalapeño dog to keep me nourished, topped with piccalilly from the Netherlands.

Yum!

Yeah it dont take much of anything to get to cooking temps right now! Great looking ribs and sausage.

That is some fine looking chow! I'm gonna Google it, but what is piccalilly?

It’s a variety of pickled Dutch vegetables and spice. A little like relish, but a bit more tart. Really good. Our next trip in October, I’m stocking up!
