Any other SMF Bourbon/Whiskey "enthusiasts"?

Early Times in the 1L bottle is my favorite under $30 bottle. Recently it is also sold in .750ml, but it is not the same juice as the 1L.

I took this pic a few months ago. Some are gone, others have been added.

Note the 4 bottles of Elijah Craig on the bottom right. These are the last of the 12-year age statement bottlings before that line was discontinued.
take that bottle of rockin rye down about a third. slide tangerine slices in it and set it in the back of your cabinet for 20 yrs. my uncle had a bottle like that i got to taste. man it was full of that tangerine flavor! stuff went down like cool-aid. ill remember that stuff the rest of my life. lol

gave up drinking regular several years ago. when i did it really didnt matter what it was. lol

I love the E.T.L, can't find it out here, so I drink Blanton's and Rare Eagle.

By the way if anyone has an extra Blanton's "S" stopper, I sure could use it.
I'm gonna go poor before I find and S, I may have letters you need to trade.
Thank you.
Dan.
Let me look. I'm struggling finding the N'

By the way did you watch the Derby, that horse came from last too first to win was crazy, had to be one of the best I have ever seen. My pick, decided to do a backflip going into the gates, and never ran...just my luck. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I just noticed the two dots on the (N:) on the left side, I'm assuming that is the second N.
I'll see what I have this evening, or tomorrow morning.
I know that I have a few N's up in the cabinet. Dan:emoji_thumbsup:

While you are at it @forktender , I am missing all the horses...please send them my way. lol. I take that back, I have a bottle sitting in my cabinet but not sure which one it is as I havent opened the box yet. The lady at the liquor store said that if you send them into Blantons, they will mount them for you for free.

I opened up that bottle of Double Double Oak Woodfords a couple of weeks ago. I highly recommend it. It is really good and one of the best I have ever had. Need to check and see if the local store still has it in stock. It was $35 more than at Costco but thinking it is worth the price.

Indeed, the N: is the last N needed, I just looked on Blanton's website.

FAQ.

Are there two different “N’s” to collect?

There are indeed two different n's to collect. In addition to the horses being different, the latter n is followed by a very subtle colon. It looks like "N:" Happy Collecting!

Our Costco gets the 00 oaked Woodford's in sometimes, when I see it I buy at least two bottles, it's good stuff.
I always have the big Costco bottle of Woodford's at the house. It's good stuff, I don't drink daily, but when I do, it's normally Woodford's, unless I'm drinking Blanton's.
I've bought enough bottles of higher end stuff that I was disappointed with, so I basically quit buying different bottles, and stick with either Booker's, Blanton's or Woodford's these days. I also really like some of Mitchter's offerings.

Yep, I see that, or at least something there. I'll check a couple of my others to see if they are like that. May be an apostrophe to indicate the last "N"...

Early Times in the 1L bottle is my favorite under $30 bottle. Recently it is also sold in .750ml, but it is not the same juice as the 1L.
What I heard, is that when Brown & Forman sold the juice & label to Sazerac, they had just put out the Early Times in a 1 ltr black cap. Sazerac bottled the rest from those purchased casks and used a blue cap. People say the black cap was better. I don't know, as I never found one, but the blue is very good, too. (In fact, I just bought a couple bottles from my local store.) Now Sazerac has bottled their own juice (which they say is the exact same mash bill), into 750 ml bottles for the same price, and reviews have been overwhelmingly poor.

Let me look. I'm struggling finding the N'
Wish I had known you were looking for one. I was at the Buffalo Trace distillery a couple weeks ago, and they sell the individual horses in the gift shop.

Once I pull all of my bottles down, I know I'll have extra letter, I'll post them up, in case anyone needs them.
