Hey folks.

Just got my Pro 830 last night. I've seen lots of useful info on the mods that I can do to this thing, but what about breaking in it? I think I saw something on here ages ago about spraying Pam inside before lighting it off for the first time.

Any helpful hints before I get this thing rolling? I certainly appreciate the advice.

Pam, olive oil, etc. Any of it works. I use whatever I have on hand. I like crisco best because it's semi-solid and stays on until it warms up. Not much, just a little coating. Burn it in empty for a few hours until the oil is cooked on good.

EDIT: Just to add, the most important part is getting any manufacturing oil/grease off the inside to keep from adding bad flavor. (or poison)
