I'm new to smoking, which I suppose most of the new people on here are. I'm a student at Mercer University, general manager of a coffee shop in Macon, and a part time sous chef at a fine dining Italian restaurant. After going to culinary school and working in fine dining, I decided I wanted to g a little more "Americana" in my cooking. Hopefully I can talk my wife into letting me get a smoker this weekend so I can get some practice in before the 4th. I currently have a Weber One-Touch Gold, and I am seriously considering a WSM. Any input would be appreciated. Pleased to meet y'all!
