I guess just about everyone did a brisket this weekend so may as well throw mine in the mix! This is a 13 1/2 pounder smoked 12 hours and 15 minutes at approx 250 over hickory and apple with a Bud Lite spray.

Thanks for looking at my brisket.

Very nice, Bassman! That looks incredibly tasty at 7 in the morning over coffee

What was in the bud lite spray, any spices?

Thanks for the replies, folks. Rivet, I didn't spice up the spray. I usually use a mixture of apple juice and light rum (50/50). I didn't realize the grandkids had used up all the apple juice so I just substituted with beer. It still turned out great. BTW, that's Jeff's rub which I've been using for a couple of years. Good stuff!

For you folks that think a brisket is out of your league, it's really easier than you think. It just takes longer than some of the other meats.

Personally I never get tired of looking at some really good looking meat. Yours looks great there Bassman.

Hey neighbor!
As always, Kieth, excellent looking grub. That brisket kinda gives the finger to this weather we've had!
Thanks for sharing,
Tracey
