Amazen Dust Storage

Was curious how others store the sawdust from Amazen. What kind of container do you use? I have several 1lb bags and would like to put them in something that is easy to dispense to the AMNPS. I went to The Container Store but didn't see anything that really appealed to me.

Make one of these from a plastic bottle. This was a vinegar bottle.

Always wash and save your ?PTFE? containers from like Mayo, Miracle whip, the bigger square ones from like Planters nuts, etc

EXCELLENT as storage canisters, or like disposing of deep fry oil, etc.

Or in the Shop for nuts, bolts, etc.

Will last 5 generations.

We give our old deep fry oil to my Uncle, to start his wood fired smoker.   Marc

I use these things for my dust and open bags of pellets in 5 gal buckets, just remember to not complete seal your open bags.

I save all the desiccant bags from unpacked equipment at work. Throw the dust or pellets in an a mayo or pickle jar and toss in a desiccant bag or two depending on the size and you are good for moisture protection. The bags work really well in the gun safe too and if you need to rejuvenate them you can just put them in the oven at its lowest setting for an hour or so or put them out on the concrete driveway in the Texas summer heat like I do. HTH.

I store the pellets and Dust I buy from Todd in their original plastic bags. I'm still using pellets that are 2-3 years old. I just got 3 bags of Dust I haven't used yet.
