Air Fryer Section?

Any thoughts on adding an air fryer section to the site? I see that there are other alternative cooking methods etc on here.. and maybe there's already a section that I just can't find?
 
Air fryer stuff from what I understand should be posted in the YAWYE section. Thats basically what is mostly posted there.

Social groups under forums . all the way at the bottom .
 
We have so many sections now, it’s hard to know where to post your thread. Even for me, my threads get moved by another mod all the time. And with the main feed so small, your new thread disappears in a matter of minutes. This forum is getting so big that it’s almost unmanageable. I guess that’s a good thing, cause the majority of guys & gals on here are here to either learn or to help others with their knowledge. I learned everything I know on here, and of course did some experimenting on my own. But I do agree that the Air-fryer has taken over & I myself have 2 of them. I think that an Air-fryer section would be appropriate, and jcam, a griddle section would also be something the Admin’s should look at (IMHO). But adding a new section takes some work on their part, so if it’s going to happen, it won’t be overnight.

I'm gonna vote a BIG no on the air-fryer section. This site has expanded enormously in the last few years. Which is a good thing. However it is still called "Smoking Meat Forums", and I'd at least like to see it remain an Outdoor Cooking Forum.

Go ahead and start the beat down. I have broad shoulders and can take it.

I do a lot of AirFryer stuff for "Health Reasons" in 2 ways.
One way is it's hard for me to do all the things I need to do to get a good Smoked Meat Job done, so I don't do them often.
The other "Health Reason" is for those who view My AirFryer Threads, because many of them go into the YAWYE (Heart Healthy) section, especially the Chicken.
No Deep Frying needed to get Awesome Fried Chicken. I even found I like unbreaded (Naked) Chicken parts better than Breaded, when done in my #360 Air Fryer. There's some REAL Health Food!!!
So I don't care what sub-section you move it to, or don't move it to, just so you don't say I'm not allowed to post it, unless you come here & help me do what's needed to Smoke outside all the time!!!
You can always go to my "Step by Step Index" and check out what I Smoked up to 10 years ago, when I could still carry all the stuff up & down Steps.
I'm trying not to "Just Quit Altogether", and using my Air Fryer is helping in that respect.

Bear, I don’t think there’s a single soul here thinking ‘don’t do/post it‘ at all ... and I can understand if too much trouble or congestion adding more sub forums. I would support one for air fryer and griddles since we do have some others, and that reserves the ‘food’ forums (eg beef, pork, poultry) for smoking ... but it does seem like the YAWYE is still a good spot, especially given your post here.

Yeah Chris, it is a bit of a ‘problem’ deciding to post a cook under the main ingredient, or under the device. But that horse is long out of the barn ...
