Have a few pork steaks to do tonight on the pellet grill. They are 3/4”.

Advice on temps and times appreciated. I haven’t done pork steaks in a long time and then it was on a wood burner.

If bone in pork chops, i season and cook hot and fast like a good beef steak. Except let it go to 142 degrees for pork chops. They are delicious.. I’ve been eating more pork chops than beef ribeyes with todays prices and inflation. One good thing about this mess is that it’s opened my eyes to more pork options. They are very tasty.

I sometimes take them to 190 IT or so and the fat is like butter!
Start glazing around 160 or so.

Our local butcher has a quality brand of pork called Prairie Fresh & he freshly slices pork chops each weekend. It's divine.

I just read that, and I would have never thought to wrap them an keep cooking. Gotta try this! Thanks for posting that.
