Here's my smoker. Been adding to it and tweaking ever since I first built on single axle trailer in 2011. Here's what I'm playing with adding. It's 24" wide, 16" deep and 34" tall over all. Thinking of making this with 4 racks and 2 removeable rotisseries. Wanted to do on driver's side but can't see behind it so mounting on passenger side. Have plenty work surface there. Anyway, anyone have any thoughts? Is it too much? Ole lady thinks it's overkill! Lol. Steel was free so what the hell? I found chargriller rotisserie kits for $29.95 I can make brackets to fit nice and clean. Debated on the battery power ones but I'm convinced the 110v motors may last longer. I'll run off inverter on truck when I'm not able to plug into power source

Sweet! Yeah the gear reduction in the Window Motors are awesome. I've used them in a few projects. Never thought to use for that! Did you just plug them into your trailer plug?

I bought an electronic pwmm controller to slow it down more. I bought an RV plug with junction box to tie my power from. Also bought solar power pack to use when I don't have truck hooked up. Haven't gotten it all built and put together yet but works great on bench

Got the sprockets and chain installed and the claws made. Need to get everything polished up and then installed. Looks like I'll have room to do 3 chickens per spit

Works great. The juiciest damn chicken I've ever cooked. Can't wait to do a leg of lamb and a prime rib on it
