I just got my new Amaze-in smoke maker and have a question.

Do you use it in addition to the wood chips or instead of ?

Also, do you use wood chips or chunks as the normal smoke making ingredient ?

I have a Masterbuilt 30" but not the electric.

Thanks

I use it instead of, when I use wood I use a combo of chips and chunks.  I few chips to get things started and then let the chunks finish up

I got the new one, 5x8, that supposedly can use either pellets or sawdust. I plan to give it a spin this weekend on a turkey.
