Yes, the home made woks are cool.

here is a link to the big kahuna for the woks that I have. it is sweet and reversable for the wok are pots and flat surface.

If you have a farm store and they sell border disk for plowing ( you can ask them to order on. they are not that expensive) they seem to make the best. Although they have a hole in the center you will need a good welder to weld up the hole then a couple ole horse shoes for handles, works sweet. very heavy duty.

Thanks
I was assuming there was a place where people were talking about there builds like the smokers
Coyote there was not a link and I have yet to master the search functions
I thought the woks I had seen looked like a plow disk interesting I have big cooking pots that are # 6 sewer pipe caps with disk harrow for lids work very good just never thought of using them as a wok (disk harrow) I love my big pots but that’s what they are big use lots of oil ect. Just looking for help to get the ideas flowing
Thanks again

Here is mine. Bought the disk from a farming supply store then added the 2" band and horse shoe handles. It has 3 9" legs welded to the bottom for campfire cooking and 3 24" conduit extensions (shown) for cooking on the propane burner. It handles 20lbs of fajitas or carnitas no problem!
