A Glitch in the matrix

So a lot of the buttons are fixed now from when I logged on this morning, but use to be, when you clicked on your alerts, the number would disappear. Now it returns for a little while when I refresh the page. Did not use to do that.

the onscreen alerts seem to working best ive ever seen! Like if I have 5 and click one it say 4 and so on! Love hoe its working now. Hope that is how its supposed to be working.

Missed most of the drama earlier today.
I tried to reply to a thread and it was a challenge.
I've been away from on-line services for a number of years.
Upgrades are always a ... challenge. Not sure which BBS you use, but I swear they release a new version in beta and expect the users to figure out the bugs.
Thanks for all the hard work and due diligence getting it resolved.

OK, I have a big complaint.
When I use a quote from a poster in a thread, I often delete the excess chatter and only respond to a single statement. Appears, I cannot edit the quote
Also what happened to the view post?

When I use a quote from a poster in a thread, I often delete the excess chatter and only respond to a single statement

Left click and highlight the statement you want to quote . When you let up it should give you a drop down window with an option to quote .

Yup---Mine seem to be coming through pretty good now, after a week of Zero.

However, I don't seem to be able to "Copy", as in "Copy & Paste" on these posts.
I can do it on all other sites.
Is that me? Or is that a new SMF problem?

On Edit:
Hmm, after playing around with it, I discovered it is copying, but the copied part has no visible Highlight. All my other Highlighting is a Blue color.

Does anyone remember what color the text/background used to be when selecting text in the editor?

Some of our styling seems to have gotten corrupted.. most of it is fixed but there's a few small things like this we are working thru.

I guess there is a leaning curve John. Every time we get an update it takes a while to get used to. When you get old like us, change is not good! Right? Also, I can’t find the smiley faces, am I missing something?

It's a better now----It's currently a "Light Gray".
It was actually "Clear", and couldn't be seen.

Here's an odd one too. When I downloaded the pics for my thread, they came in "Left to Right", instead of in a vertical list, like it always was.
Not a big deal, but after the first few, I had to reach over & scroll to the right to get to the next one. Hope that makes sense.

All in All, Things seem to be shaping up pretty good!!

OK Jeff,
I managed to get one posted (I think).
However some of the stuff on top of the box was still missing.
And when I tried to enter the title in it's box, it switched to another page, and I had to figure out how to get back to the posting page, but this time when I got back there, my title was there. Everything else seems to be there, but I didn't look that close yet. I'm going to proof read it now.

Well I'm back on after being shut out again for another day, makes me wonder if this has been happening to other guys. Aside from this pain in the butt I've noticed when trying to leave a PM conversation a red screen pops up that doesn't allow that to happen. Kind of brings to mind the old axiom of "if it ain't broke don't go trying to fix it". RAY
