So, bouncin round this idear of a sausage supply company an some questions keep comin up.

Would you wan't a 10 pound batch or prefer 25 pound batch's?

Would you prefer flat rate shippin er pay by the pound?

I'm workin on suppliers an pricin, an example I've worked up:

Fresh Pork Sausage 10 pound kit: $3.75 + shippin, sound fair?
By the way, this is an excellent breakfest sausage!

If we fire this thing up, we would be acceptin payments (credit cards, debit cards, e-checks an paypal - all through paypal) an would be a web based business.

While were small, we would be mixin the seasonin packets up as there ordered, rather then have em sittin round, gurantee's a fresher product I think.

So to start, we would be carryin seasonin kits, casins, pattie paper an a limited supply of equipment (man, theres an investment!). Anythin elese you guys would like ta see?

I like paypal but I'd use what ever was safe

I'd be interested in your seasoning kits mainly, casing I can get locally.
I'd start off small with your rubs and spice mixes to start, and then build from there.

An assortment pack for maybe 5 lbs each would be cool. Personally when I do sausage I do 25 lb batches for me its not worth cleaning everything for less. On the shipping I'm not sure flat rate is nice but whatever is cheaper. I like paypay thats fine

As the newbie to sausage making that you are looking to help out and supply with product I like to offer my imput. I would like a small batches maybe 10 lbs and once I get good at it I will buy the larger amounts. I would like to see the product and show me the mixing of the product and the human hands on it. It will make me feel better. I would tend to buy products from a human made rather then a machine madfe product. I like the flat rate shipping I think I would buy more. As for payment I like paypal I have had an account for years. I also think being a good standing member in here would help your bussiness alot because if you started something and I heard it was trav from SMF I would buy product even if it cost alittle more then others. So remember there will always be someone sellimg the same product for less but just remember yours is from the heart and show off the people who prduce the products. I am exicited for you and I hope you do go for it so pm or e-mail your product list and you can hang up my dollar bill on the wall as the first one of many you will make of mine.
